What did you do in the garden today?

Watered the orchard, picked peppers, picked tomatillos and pulled plants as I picked. I have three trays of hot peppers to go in the freeze dryer and three trays of tomatillos. I will start those in the morning. I cleared out half a bed of tomatillos.

I pulled so many weeds in the orchard that I have blisters on my fingers. Owwie..... I didn't think I needed gloves.

Getting ready for garlic and flower bulb planting season!!

I think we're going to get a nicer truck. Going to say goodbye to my 03 4runner if I like the truck we get. I love my 4Runner.... But it needs work I don't have time to fix myself. He has 265000 miles on him. Sigh, suspension is in need of actual work.

I feel ya there. I have a Xterra and it needs a water pump but my husband just doesn't have the time and when he does we don't have the money. I think I should sell it but I love my Xterra and even though he has a 17 Ford 150 I hate that truck.

I am getting nowhere outside today - rain for 15mins fine for 5min - repeat. Can't even hang the washing out to rinse.
Yesterday I did a huge amount of weed removal at the just vacated rental - ditto the day before.
So an easy day is probably a good idea.

Here in California if you need air, at most stations you have to buy something. It's just best to have a air pump with you at all times.

You can tell them to turn on the air pump. Just say you bought gas. But I just keep a battery jumper that has the air pump on it with me. We tow so we like to be prepared. And I hate talking to people at the gas stations

I hate our 06 RAM 2500.... I've driven it for 3 years with no AC.... Why.... My spouse is"frugal".... So 4Runner, which I need to do work on. New truck will be a test run for me. I doubt I'll like it over the 4runner. But I'll try.

We were less than 5000$ to getting rid of 600$ a month payments and then he decided I need a new truck because he didn't like the scratch down the passenger side door. WTF, are you thinking. It got worse when our youngest daughter said Dad told me he only got it because you wanted it. OH H@@@ NO. I still don't like that truck. I miss my Xterra.

Essentially they are coming from a place of good intentions. Foods improperly cooked can kill people...botulism, e coli, salmonella, etc. In Arkansas, as long as foods aren't being sold and have the proper labeling with name, address, phone number and ingredients, they generally allow churches and individuals to give stuff away for free like that... That way if someone comes down sick, they have a way to trace where the food came from.

The road paved with good intentions is basically a metaphor for help others and you will get paid in back in good in the return. It also might be a Bible verse however, I'm just not familiar enough to say.
