What did you do in the garden today?

I think I read on the label on my bottle that it's only good for something like 12 hours after mixed with water.
Yeah, it does have a short lifespan after mixed with water. I think in storage it’s only viable for about two years, and that’s as long as it doesn’t get hot. Having said this I have used degraded Bt and still had excellent results.

This morning I found a few of my Christmas shelly beans that I planted a few days ago were pulled out and half eating each by rodents no doubt.

My wild cherry tomatoes were also a bite here and there. My patientce is wearing very thin......so thin...!!!!!
Don’t discount rabbits. Even though not rodents when it comes to behavior, disruptions, damage, and general aggravating lifestyle they qualify. Sort of Honorary Rodents.

I managed to get the steel on the henhouse. Just the upper run to go. I'm going to try to crank that out tomorrow morning before the winds pick up. I've never seen so many vicious mosquitoes here @Justagalwithchicks
We do have a lot right now! Those bloodsuckers and we have those little no see'em bugs that bite also right now. Glad you got your henhouse done. By the time all your siding, deck and roof is all done it's like you have a brand new place! The storms this year have really hit your ranch hard!! Pray you are all done with storm damage!

Fertilized the fall garden, which is growing beautifully, thank goodness. Ordered some new Italian garlic to try, will plant it and my regular garlic and we'll see which one I like best. Someone mentioned here that garlic helps keep voles away, so am over planting every bed in hopes of chasing them away. Plus ill get lots of garlic! Win/win! Yanked my only surviving tomato plant, the one in the pot by the house that didn't get blight. Looking at those pepper plants now, trying to decide what to do with them. Like that idea of trying to winter one over inside, never tried it before.

My 3 young roosters all have different crow sounds. One is normal and matches the loud irritating sound of other roosters in my neighborhood. He will probably be the first to go. The second one starts off with a lower sounding crow that fizzles out before the last long sound and the last one is just silly. He can only get the first note off and gags. I will probably end up keeping this one.

It's pawpaw time for us (46 N latitude), we like Sibley the best.

Rheinischer Winterrambour apples to the right, they come in all sizes and shapes. One is even pretending to be summer squash.
