What did you do in the garden today?

I sprayed the front yard for bindii and assorted other flat 'weeds' just to keep it tidy looking for summer. All the weeds out back can stay.
What on earth is a bindii... Oh okay. Ew!

"Bindii dermatitis is a form of irritant contact dermatitis resulting from injury by the seed of the bindii weed."

Does this happen a lot? Is it nasty for ground-foraging birds as well?

still summer here. I should prepare garden for winter crops. still too hot to transplant cauliflowers and broccoli. kale sprouted, peas didn't.
Peas sprout best in cool soil. You might try planting peas seeds in starter soil in the refrigerator or in front of an air conditioner if you have any left to experiment with.

These tomatoes are for the most part just super meaty. Most flesh to seed/goop of any tomato ive grown or can even remember having. That’s why I was waiting for the 1.5 lbs one to get fully ripe so that I had a better shot of getting more seeds but it chose to not like that plan. I got a hundred or so at least
100 seeds isn't enough? Are you a commercial grower?

Ivy leafed morning glory grows wild here. Plant identifier says central America. Wild native sunchokes in bloom.
