What did you do in the garden today?

Turned over a raised bed and then dumped a bucket of chicken poop in it. I'll do compost also to top beds off. Last year I just dug trenches in my garden and dumped chicken poop in them, then cover as I fill them. Stopped the process around end on January. By May, it's all pretty much composted. Didn't have any problems with anything burning etc and had a really good garden this year. Is this lazy man's composting? Works for me!

Amish BREAD recipe:
2 cups warm water (110F)
2/3 cup of white sugar
1-1/2 TBSP yeast
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1-1/2 tsp salt
6 cups bread flour

-Stir sugar and yeast into the water and let sit for about 5 minutes, until foamy.

-Mix oil and salt into the yeast mixture and add to the flour and combine into a soft dough.

-Knead dough until smooth

-Place kneaded dough into an oiled bowl and turn to coat, -cover and allow to rise for about an hour until doubled in size.

-Punch dough down, divide in half and shape loaves and place into two well-oiled 9X5 loaf pans. Cover and allow to rise until loaves are about 1 inch above the lip of the pans.

- Bake at 350F for 30-40 minutes
I usually take loaves out at 30 minutes

thank you. I'll make pizza as well.

My 5 eggs started to hatch and one of them hatched on the first day of lock down and have been knocking the other 4 eggs around like a football. Now, four of the unhatched eggs are spread out on four sides of my square incubator wall.

The problem I have is two eggs were placed inside my incubator 3 days later, so I plan to take out what ever hatches on day 21 and give any unhatched eggs 3 more days. I hope none of them are piping when I open the incubator tomorrow am.
