What did you do in the garden today?

I meant to post this. My husband and I had our 40th anniversary 2 days ago.
I've been storing up posts with the quote tool. Happy belated anniversary!
You could always move to the Western most part of whichever time zone you prefer.
šŸ˜‚ I need to move to Japan then.
They sell cordless lawn mowers at Walmart, Lowes and Home Depot...........
This is correct. But in California they do not sell gas push mowers. However, after testing my corded mower, it was the extension cord. It wasn't giving enough amps to run the mower. The cable had been mended, DH cut it with the hedge trimmer on accident years ago. Time to take it apart and see which crimp failed. I will replace them with wago lever nut connectors. I really like those.
Thank you. It seems like the way to a marriage is knowing you have the option of a divorce. I told my husband that I wanted to get chickens and he said well we have the money so go ahead. When I told him I got ducks he said well at least you were the one that was able to save the money. Our kids think I'm crazy but at least they don't see it as I'm insane. My husband wants to go do something and I'm just like go ahead I'm not your mom or your keeper, I'm your wife and I stand by you not behind or under. That's what we do. It doesn't work for everyone but at least it works for us.
Well said. We're partners. Communication is critical as well. We just recently forgot our 10th wedding anniversary... 🄓🤣 We often forget our anniversary until a few days later. It's not that we don't want to celebrate or don't care, it's just that we love each other and show/share that love every day.
Ryobi tends towards homeowner use. I bought a circular saw from them once and after a bit of use the trigger failed, never bought another Ryobi ever. My go to is Dewalt.
We have 20/60V DeWalt tools for the most part. Two 18V Makita tools. Of our cordless tools, the DeWalt framing nailer is my favorite. The Makita impact driver is the king of the tool box. That is the most efficient tool we own. Did a whole 80' dog ear fence on one 4AH battery.

The DeWalt reciprocating saw has earned its keep as well. Cut a 7 person hot tub into small pieces with two 6AH batteries.

Anyway, we had the family over for home made pizza night and watched the world series. What a game.

I finished planting the garlic! 440 cloves total. I thought about planting more, but I think this will be enough. A few that I planted last week are sprouting.

I fertilized the strawberries, fertilized the kale, the carrots, and the mint.

Today I don't need to do anything. It's a weird feeling.

video says iPhone but also works on Android.
Thank you but I don't have a cell phone, don't do computers, don't do email, have never texted, done facebook, x, or whatever social media you young ones are on. I don't understand what you're trying to show me with the iPhone video, but I thank you for your intent. I use my tablet to play bingo on days I can't be outside working, to order supplies in from Amazon so I don't ever have to leave my home, and to read my backyard chicken threads. My life is so simple.

Thank you for the belated anniversary.

Most years I buy hay bales from Lowes and line them around the walls of the chicken coop. The girls love to nestle in them in the winter, and I get almost fully conditioned hay bales for planting my sweet potatoes in come spring. Did I mention I got new chicks this spring? These new gals are holy terrors! They have ripped apart almost every hay bale already! Guess ill be planting next years sweet potatoes in large pots instead. Hard to be mad at them, they're having such fun .

They now sell lawn mowers that run on rechargeable Li-Ion Batteries.

Been there, done that. Have both the old and new grinders just so I could get the sausage tubes and I needed the newer grinder so that I could get the only available sausage tubes to fit it, could not find the tubes for the older grinder. Still I’m a Kitcheaid—ite.
For all the attachments I have, I'm kind of stuck there.
