Nice Haul!

pulled the last 3 huckleberry bushes and chopped them into the compost pile. Got another gallon of berries. Can't believe these were flowering and putting out more berries after the freeze we just had! Saving some of the berries for seed, these are definitely going in my garden again

Got my five garden hoses drained, rolled and put away for the winter. But there was no rush because no freeze is in the forecast for the next 10 days. I've seen light frost only a couple times this fall. Weird.

Garden huckleberry is actually a form of black solanum. Huckleberry is also another name for bilberry, and that one is a perennial.

New shed and converted coop apparently aren’t enough for me. Spent the day digging about a 50 foot ditch to bury wiring from the house to the new shed, buried same and will most likely finish all but the tie ins. Switches and lights for both the new shed and the coop. Tie ins and testing probably done over the weekend.

Are silver laced wyandottes good roosters? Someone is rehoming a young one and I am thinking that it's because they know it a rooster so I am just wondering if they're friendly or not.

They are beautiful roosters - good or bad is in the genetics.
You could always grab it - if it does not work out - Christmas Dinner.
