I will cull all the roosters when they start to crow and cull the hens after two years. There is a two-chicken limit in my residential area and a fine if neighbors complain. I have to monitor the sound of my roosters, and I can only keep one. A lot of people raise chickens where I live, so it's okay as long as no one complains.

Two chicken limit.... That's not even a flock. I would go to the board and petition for three chicken limit for the well-being of the birds.

I made some homemade lemonade this evening... I drink a lot of lemonade, but I really want to do something more with some of the lemons. I'm thinking of some lemon-blueberry muffins maybe.

Zest the lemons, peel lemons, seed lemons, puree pulp, juice and zest and freeze dry, then powder and store

I made some homemade lemonade this evening... I drink a lot of lemonade, but I really want to do something more with some of the lemons. I'm thinking of some lemon-blueberry muffins maybe.

I make lemon cleaning spray with the left over rinds. Put them in a quart canning jar, add vinegar and let sit with a lid on for 4 weeks. Smells great and no yucky chemicals
