What did you do in the garden today?

Coffee in hand. 28 another hard freeze. High of 45 with peeks of sun. A lot of leaves came down with the freeze. The mulberry tree went from green to naked. Now I can gather the last of the leaves. When it gets light out I will crsck some walnuts outside and bring inside to remove the nut meats. Nice task on a cold morning.

I made a lemon meringue pie today, and I was lucky enough to have a little juice leftover for me to have a glass of lemonade too. A taste of summer with the snow flying here still.

Someone on here is always making something good to eat but are there ever any invites?

Same here with our mulberries and the gingko tree. We call them "F it!" trees. They hold onto their leaves until all of a sudden, they say, "F it! I'm done!" and drop them all at once.

At war with mice. They are getting in the garage. Bait is useless they will not eat the two different brands 2 different ingredients. Barely touched the homemade last year. Warfrin was the best but not available. Traps are set. My indicator is sunflower seeds. Any around will eat those.

Last year I walked in the basement during the day and they were running everywhere . Bucket traps didn't catch much.
I have no problems getting them to eat the bait.
They ate 8 lbs of one bite and still running around, fat and sassy.
A lb of this purple was gone and so were they.
