What did you do in the garden today?

I used to clean my ear with a Q-Tip but stopped using it after the inner part of my ear got irritated and infected. I knew about the warnings and only stuck the Q-tip near the entrance of my ear and not too deep. Now, I am trying a small disposable scoop one that is made out of hard plastic; however, I don't like the feel of it, so I am going to try something soft on amazon next. I ordered this simple soft tip one, the others had too many attachments and this one had a higher rating.

It's been a really tough few weeks, lots of stuff going wrong. Thankful for the things going right but got the call I knew was coming yesterday morning. My mom's sister died. She has had problems with diabetes, kidneys and heart issues. The baby of the family. I went to see her on Wednesday at the hospital, but they had her drugged up and only got to talk to her for 2 minutes before she fell asleep. Probably for the best, I'm not good at saying the right things anyway.
I'm sorry for your loss.

I use cotton swabs. My spouse uses the BeBird camera ear cleaner. I use it every six months or so just to check on my handiwork. Spouse will not use the swabs.
