What did you do in the garden today?

My cousin came by and cut up a large box elder that had fallen in the way to mow the bottom.
31 inches across . Big for a box elder

2nd alpaca down. 100% fine all day NO symptoms at ALL, and I was out there with them for two solid hours cleaning and raking and nothing, he even came running up the hill with the others at 3pm begging for dinner. I told them I had a meeting and would be back out at 4. At 402 I found him down, I immediately got him on the meds, and got him up and walking, at one point running, for almost half an hour before I got him all the way up and locked him in the barn.
I have now treated ALL the herd with ALL the meds as if they are full blow cases. This FRIGGEN WORM IS incidious! Horses, cattle, goat, sheep, llamas, and alpacas can all get it. OMG. I tried to flag down the neighbor with horses when she got home as my deer are her deer, but she just kept driving.
Blows my mind how fast this stuff hits as it silently incubates for 45 days in their body until the load shows symptoms. BLOWS MY MIND.

Breaking records here for how warm it is. Perfect day for buckets of soapy water and doing some hen house cleaning. I have a hen who had always has spatter poops. I'm finally accepting this after years of trying to fix her. We have linoleum in their hen house floor and up part of the walls. Got all of it scrubbed and cleaned in time for our rain and snow tomorrow. But today, it's shiny as a new penny. :) tomorrow will be organizing my new seeds.

Got my seeds ordered, probably more than I needed. 4 different kinds of beans, what was I thinking! Those seed catalogs just get me dreaming, lol. Got some from Baker Creek, RH Shumways, and trying some from Park Seed this year. They're in the Carolinas so guessing some of their seed will do well in our hot humid area.

Took some Geranium cuttings and potted them up.
Planted some Lilac tree (White cedar) seeds, and some capsicum seeds. And some seeds from the vine my Mum has growing over her potting bench - no idea what it is called, but I like it.
Got a picture?
