What did you do in the garden today?

I'm seriously considering bringing some of my potato bags inside with grow lights and doing indoor potatoes lol. Because they're red potatoes if I bury them this weekend they'll be ready for harvest by April/May and then I can just refill the bags when I do everything for my direct sewing in the spring and get a third harvest instead of just two on my season 🤷‍♀️
If you don't, it will definitely not happen. If you do, there's a chance. In my book, that's a DO IT!

I lost Angus, the baby of the lot only 8.5 years old, the mischievous one, who would drive all the others and us insane, bucking, fighting, chasing, un-tying my shoes and stealing my hats.
And Cosmo, my favorite, at 11 years old, who followed me around like a 220 pound puppy always looking for treats and scratches, or hanging out sunbathing and snoring.

Not that I don't enjoy the others, as they're ALL different, it's just not quite the same in the barn at the moment.
I'm so sorry. How rotten. Do they seem to miss the ones who passed away? The two you described sound like they were quite the characters.

Ya they do. It rattles the herd when members go missing. They're all half brothers and cousins, and have been around each other since birth.
They'll figure out how to be a smaller herd, and I'm sadly, getting used to not dealing with the bully being around far too quickly, but I sure miss my Mo.

They're ALL characters, very distinct personalities. Like big expensive dogs.

Big hugs, so sorry for your loss. I'm sure there's A big hole in your heart right now but I'm so glad that you've been able to save 4.
