What did you do in the garden today?

The split-type seed cube made it easy to plant my red lettuce sprouts. This was the best and easiest way I experienced thus far in my life.

I have been thinking about growing vegetables again after a few years of terrible weather. I miss my Christmas Lima beans, I have not had it for a few years now....I will try today to put a few seeds out to start growing this beans again..

Christmas Lima beans is the only beans that I love to eat.

Got most of my potatoes planted. Ran out of space. I have 8 left... Might have to put together grow bags for the rest.

Got a small corner of the in-ground garden area cleared of last year's growth and weeds. Still sooooo much more to do. I'd like to get the rest cleared enough to plant my broccoli and cauliflower by tomorrow night. We are scheduled for a week solid of rain. I'd love to have my plants in the ground before that...

Not going to bother with seeds. They're 11 years old!
I found a box of old seeds a couple of weeks ago. Our middle school art teacher was THRILLED to have them for the Art Club. I'm anxious to see what the kids come up with, too!

No rain yet. I need to wait until near the end of the month to start tomatoes and other tender annuals. The wait is getting to me. I have a few cold hardy seeds planted. Nothing much up yet.
All my seeds are up except the peppers and huckleberries, they'll be up soon. Can't plant the onions, beets and carrots til saint pattys day so just a waiting game now. Lots of irises, daylillies, daffodils and hyacinth have broken ground, and the true mark of spring to me....the forsythia is budded out! C'mon growing season!
