WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR BEAK?!

So, I noticed this today:

No idea when or how she managed it.
It looks like the top layer of her beak chipped and split. She doesn't seem bothered by this and is eating and acting normally. Is this normal?? Should I do something or will it take care of itself?

I would personally file it so as to hopefully prevent further splitting... sorry I don't have a clue what caused it

Ohh, she's gonna hate that. But that does sound like a good idea. Do I do it with a normal nail file? Or is there something stronger out there?
...Do chicken nail files exist...?

If you can, a rotary tool with a sanding tip works, but she's REALLY not going to like it most likely.
