My first group are not due for 11 days 15 days on the others may fire up my little bator for the 8 extra give the 15 more room to hatch

Yesterday was decent, but today is cooler and rainy.
The ducks don’t mind the rain, the chicks will come out for treats.
I’ve been hatching chicks for the past few days, so yesterday, today, and tomorrow are sell days!

Today we introduce our ‘free range’ girls to their new pen, because of lockdown here in the uk we have been in the garden every day with the girls since we collected then 10 days ago, now we look to weaning them off our constant attention and see what they think to their’fox proof’ pen,

Chicks hatched overnight into the morning under Fox, my broody girl. I moved them from the big coop to the brooder coop, and soon, they'll move to the bantam barn.
Also, have some Welshie eggs starting to hatch!

Picked up 3 American buff goslings for my goose that has been sitting on non fertile eggs for about 38 days. She is not sure of them yet, but Percival, my gander, took to them right away. He's doing a great job already.

I did! I ordered 7 more Buckeyes (one male) and one EE male! I wanted a couple more roosters anyway!

Yesterday I played with the goslings.

Picked up 3 American buff goslings for my goose that has been sitting on non fertile eggs for about 38 days. She is not sure of them yet, but Percival, my gander, took to them right away. He's doing a great job already.

Ive been a busy Mama today. I've pressure washed and sweeped out my Coop. and allowed everything to dry. I reloaded all the pine shavings for another mos. -Before cleaning out again. I checked my flock of 6 hens that just began to lay for mites. We built a 12x25 foot outside run for them yesterday. (My Mothers day present I wanted) No more free range. (To hard to keep my GSD in check). Sat out under an umbrella in the run and took video of them Dusting, rolling and having a good time. I ate watermelon and shared with them. I think thats enough for me in one day.

Yesterday we added hardware cloth to some dog pen panels to make a bachelor pad for the call drakes to live while The Mamas hatch and raise babies in the main palace.
It isn't beautiful but it works for now.

And of course spent some time watching the babies play around. This one looks like a family meeting was being held
