Have to tell ya had a person joined this morning said you have to read the article .. Said if you feed mealworms you birds will have shell less eggs then die told him opinions are like A holes we all have one

Yes, they are! They have A LOT of energy. We call them Thing One and Thing Two or our ferrets... they are bouncing off of the furniture, walls, my legs... Good thing I have gotten over most of my control issues so it is basically funny.

Well, if the last 5 years has taught me anything, it is that I have given people waaay too much credit throughout my life. Apparently, ignorance is a real thing and a few are very comfortable being stuck in that rut?? What can you say... ? just hope they snap out of it and/or don't spread the... "misinformation". It is all just so embarrassing lol.

I was saying on another thread old folks home ..
My favored relative Grandmas Brother was "light in his loafers" I will say Long before it was accepted.
He and his partner he said "Friend" Were a pair for 45 years .. After his partner passed and I was brought out here. .. Grandma moved to town to take care of him

I gave Beigie and Molly some leftover boiled eggs. They were really excited, and gobbled them up before any one else discovered them. XD
I got a lot of pictures of my birds, and a few of Monkey.

Have to say I have had to welp many take them from momma fast they are not a natural dog in that way ..
Handled Red he had movement and head that would not quit loved that darn dog

Aloha gang,
Still doing the cockerel juggle, trying to find a way to keep all 4 boys in harmony... I know, I'm an idiot. I don't have the space or flock size for my grand plans but I'm going to keep trying to find the zone for a little longer.
I have the bright idea that my fairly neglected Buff Brahma would probably be very scared and submissive of Spider and is waaaaay better at keeping the ferals out too. So, now that Jack who we now call Jumpin' Jack Flash has had his 3 days out and I give him a C for his efforts, about the same as the Dark Brahma, tomorrow I will give Ivan a shot. He has always been a weird one but has done some growing and maturing.
Also, candled 3 eggs and one, possibly/probably DB was unfertilized... that means DB roo may not be up to snuff yet... was hoping to get some pure DB's out of the egg mix under my broody. I have another week to find out

So, think I am just going to scrape boards and fill feeders today. I scrubbed the waters yesterday and stuck some vitamins in because I want to worm the gang B4 the heat comes.
Egg count has dropped so I also need to go look for the hidden nest (s).

Been helping a sick friend, DH and also spring cleaning/thinning of crap around the house so will leave chooks to their own devices and try to stay on track with my garbage. I want to have a garage sale in the next month or so or at least be ready to have one eventually.
