He is! He was a wee little chick and was attacked as a day old, left for dead. I found him limp and unresponsive but breathing, with a hole in his head. I cried and placed him under my shirt for comfort as he passed. About 10 minutes later he started cheeping! The next day he was attacked again, so I put the broody and all five chicks in a safe area. I gave that wee little chick electrolytes, vitamin E, and B complex by eye dropper for a couple days until he fought me so hard that I was sure he was going to make it.
I started calling him LC, Little Chick. He was behind in development but caught up within a few weeks, and when I was taking boys to the auction I decided to keep my Little Chick, and renamed him Zacchaeus.
