What did you do with your flock today?

Trimmed Beetles beak, thrilled and obsessed to have him home. Did a little set up in the chicken run, installed 4 motion sensor solar lights, one on each gate and one on each coop. I cut some grass to top off shredded paper for 8 of the nest boxes, installed roost/hop and them pad for water.

Need to clean out some heavy junk and move some sand. Make a hanging stand for one of my feeders , figure out where the grandpa feeder is gunna go. Then I will bring in a bunch of leaf debris. Hope to get girls tomorrow afternoon!
Your pictures remind me of Old Tucson Studios here. Your chickens get a whole little chicken town to themselves! Just need to add hotel and saloon signs 😂🥰...what other buildings would a chicken town have?

Oh no! I hope you all get better soon! :hugs The strain of 'flu circulating over here is filling hospitals and even killing people ☹
Good news that the bumblefoot is shrinking. Your girl sounds just like Gladys, wants attention and to be with you but just doesn't like being held.
I can bandage feather-free feet absolutely no problem but I can't seem to get the hang of feathers. It doesn't help when the patient is such a wriggler and squealer - yes, I do mean you, Pru!
Oh, if our chickens were on this forum, imagine what they would post and discuss here? Or reply? :caf :lau:pop

Aww, poor girl! Just makes me want to cuddle her even more.
Stanley is an oddbod for sure! He's terrified by anything that's royal purple in colour, for example. He's home-bred so I can't put it down to a traumatic incident in his past.
Just yesterday, I put comb and wattle protector on my roos as it was in the minus figures. Ferdy, his dad, just sat in my arms and let me slather it on. Then he got on my shoulder for extra fusses. Stan let me put the gunk on him but he was obviously unhappy. I put him down and offered him a handful of live mealworms for being a good roo. He threw a tantrum by scattering them all out of my hand, swiping his beak side to side until every single one was on the floor. He also gave me a few sly nips while he was doing it. He then stalked off, grumbling to himself :lau
Get the rooster cam running! I could watch your videos for entertainment.

I dread to think what they'd say about me!
I let one of the waterers run dry yesterday. Accidentally - the plastic had cracked in the cold. There's only three more, fully operational and freshly filled within a few feet of each other but Ferdy freaked out about it until I trudged through the snow with its replacement. He definitely would say I was not fulfilling my obligations 🤣

Im gunna take extra care to not forget my phone in the run lest they jump onto this site and tell on me. They'd have a pretty big list, starting with leaving them up the mountain for so long. Today, they have to experience rain in cooler conditions. Poor babies.

Well, as I stated in above text ☝️, I have not rescued my chooks from the mountain yet. Yesterday, I had a busy day in many directions including getting 3 kitties dropped off and then picked up at 9pm for their health certs and feeding Polihale Kitties, plus bait stations. AJ was not doing well and needed much of my time too. Kinda stressful, but today is calm with rain and AJ seems more steady 👍. Much needed rain for us. Much needed calm for me and AJ. Thinking... maybe its can go up and grab chickens who may be in coop hiding from the rain.... 🤔 ???? Or make like Piko and calmly let the day unfold.
