What did you do with your flock today?

Ling Ling has been on an 'escape the yard' spree for around two weeks. Every time I think I blocked up the area she escaped from, she finds a new way out. About a week ago she had a really close call with a coyote, and had Honey not been out (along with my dad) to chase it away, it definitely would've gotten her. The dumb duck was completely oblivious.
Now she's stuck under almost constant supervision until someone can run chicken wire around the bottom of the fence.

On a different note, I got seven more chickens in.

Hopey. She was my oldest and friendliest hen. Everyone always called her the “chicken ambassador.” XD I lost her sometime last year when she was 9-10.

@room suggested I make her really, really big, so here she is with Molly as a size comparison. For context, Molly is roughly the size as all the other figurines.

And now for my favorites, the SFs.

sir they are absolutely amazing
are they made from clay or

Since they don’t have eyes painted on, knowing myself I would glue little googly eyes on them and shake them around

Thank you so much! Yup, and then I paint them with acrylic after they get fired. There’s technically special glazes and underglazes I can use, but the colors aren’t all that great, and acrylic is easier to work with.

Ooohhh very nice very nice :3 acrylic got the job done the colors are very lovely! What are you planning to do with them? they’d look really cute as some sort of ornaments but it’d seem weird to have hooks glued on their backs

Oh I’m sure they’re out there I’ve seen some super tiny ones myself
