What did you do with your flock today?

Okay guys! Things are getting very frustrating! I have another sickly chicken :-( Fluff was all puffed up last night and his comb is very pale. So I decided to try treating them for coccidiosis…fingers crossed that’s what’s been the issue and we get it solved without anymore fatalities. :-(

Oh no! Did the vet do a fecal check on the last? Can you get one done?

Yeah, I am going to have to call the vet and see. This whole thing is exhausting! Especially one of my very favorite chickens

Gosh, I am just so sad for you. You are such a good loving and very smart mom. I hope this mystery is solved soon and you can take the experience and move forward. I will be keeping Fluff in my good thoughts ♡♡♡

Thank you! I'm so sorry to hear you lost a hen today. It really doesn't get easier. They are all so unique and special and it doesn't seem fair how short their lives so often are! Hugs to you.

I'm not sure how old she was. My husband brought her and two others home from an auction two weeks ago. She was molting and very thin and the others picked on her bare spots a bit, but didn't hurt her. Today she started having trouble with her balance and refused food. She was gone within the hour.
