Today I spent with my mom, sister, and sister in law. And of course just the nieces..all too young for school. Maybe next time my nephews will be there. Anyway, I got some baby time. I really should have been home though with this gross weather we are going to be getting. A REALLY bad cold front is moving on. Almost 80 today and tomorrow 37. I’m over Mother Natures PMSing…can I please just get some actual FALL weather??!?! And Tuesday…yeah that is snow in the forecast. I think really it’s me just SOO not ready. Not ready for the ducks..chickens…or myself. I HATE the cold

Sorry to hear that I hope what ever it is passes quickly and I certainly hope it is nothing bad. A quick cold right?! A few naps and tea ♡

I just got my covid booster and flu vax so totally up to date. I plan on being slower at life today too, though usually the day after my vaxs is when I want my nap... and before and so on and so on

Guess the "bug" I caught was a spider bite! Never had a bite make me feel whole body sick before. But on the good side, it's passing already. Now I just feel a little achy, except for the bite itself.
That's what I get for getting so excited about finding mealies that I plopped my butt on the ground to see them better.
My symptoms match for brown recluse so fingers crossed it doesn't form much of an ulcer. It's not looking too bad so far.

Peppermint ANYTHING sounds good right now! And to top off the weather situation…my Keurig took a dump on me . I knew it was coming but seriously! At least my really coffee pot still works. Only my husbands coffee is gross. We seriously have 2 coffee makers. One for him and one for me. I will just use his after he is off to work. I have no idea how long this is supposed to last but it doesn’t look like there is an end insight yet. It wouldn’t be so bad if the wind would just go away.

That’s bad! I got bit by one before. And it was like right on my leg under my butt. I couldnt set, had to go to the ER for antibiotics and still had to put a bandaid on with Watkins salve. I had so much coming out from it, it was crazy. It had even started turning black. I hope yours heals faster and better since you were able to catch it on time. I couldn’t see so I thought it might have been like an ingrown hair or something crazy.

That is the first thing I thought when you said spider bite. I'm sure we have all heard horror stories. Surprise it got you sitting on the ground, so sorry and yikes, absolute yikes. I hope you have already seen the worst and it is all smooth sailing from here on out. Best of health friend

Brown recluse is just a guess My family already chewed me out for not going to the doctor right away. But at this point the worst seems to be past, so unless it forms an ulcer, I don't see a point to a doctor. Google said only some recluse bites require a doc.

We have his n her coffee makers too. I use a pour over maker. Just love it.
