Wow, that’s a lot of rain! Your pictures are really pretty, especially the first two.Aloha gang,
Well we have had some heavy rains move through us the last week and especially yesterday. I think Waialeale was clocked at 30" in a 24 hour period. How's that for one of the wettest spots on earth? We were more in the 5-7" where I am at and well that was enough to drive anybody indoors to binge watch The Crown... so we did and snacked on pretzels and choco raisins.
Now the mess I have to clean, the coops and cages to be mucked, mulch needing to be replenish and nesting material needing a check and freshen! Don't feel too bad for me lol. We have a sandy loam and we drained pretty fast comparatively, plus now I wont have to water anything for at least a week or two or three or four! More rain may be coming lol.
Oh! and this mornings nest box line up is hysterical. Like a bathroom line up at a plumbfest.

I'm also worried about the diseases the rain may be growing and now treating my suddenly slow chick for coccidiosis already and loaning out my Tylan to a friend. The other downside.
Thank you, Kauai is mostly, always beautiful- we were just having a moment. 1st photo is looking into my garden, coop and run. The second is looking down to the closed Hanalei Bridge and flooded taro fields. I think Hanalei could arguably be one of the worlds most beautiful spots even when flooded. Unfortunately not a lot of people can access it right now due to that big ol' landslideWow, that’s a lot of rain! Your pictures are really pretty, especially the first two.

There was some talk about making the similar threads more current. The ones I see now are old with some members not on BYC anymore. gryeyes has been gone for years!Okay something to brigg up bugging me bad our similiar threads .. can one say make it go away ?
I don’t mind old threads, but I haven’t clicked on one ‘similar thread’ yet that wasn’t years old & totally inactive. I guess it was a good idea that didn’t pan out the way they had envisioned it.There was come talk about making the similar threads more current.
