What did you do with your flock today?

Picked up 6 LB's yesterday... restraint is NOT my middle name, pretty sure I ordered 8 :idunno
They had no extras and no more orders in their near future. Almost time to fire up the bator.

Also picked up these View attachment 2876415need bottle feeding- funny as can be. The condition was the took my littles that I trapped and socialized to get adopted. I miss them terribly 😢 but the "zombies" are a force to be reckoned with.
Sold 2 buff b pullets and a dark b roo.
DH got roof on coop. Got another corse of antibiotics and an appointment with a hand specialist.
I REALLY miss Koke'e but chooks are happy to be homeView attachment 2876417
Hehehe you are definitely a kindred spirit! If I could I would have all the animals…they’re all lucky to have you in their corner! 😍

Super rainy day…so we are having a very lazy football Sunday. Puff is feeling very special…she’s the only one in the house :) She clearly is hating it 😆😆

Successfully finished integrating 4 new hens to our flock of 7! what a stressful job! They’d been fighting through the bars of the two runs a lot for the past 3 or so weeks and I’d been nervous they were never going to get along. But today I turned them all out to free range and they didn’t mind each other’s company :) Now we have one flock of eleven.

It is surprising how stressful integration is! Congrats! Life is a lot easier once they all get along :)
