About the same funny part is I have no adult photos.
These where feral cats at the old house Photo of them young .. Realized all our cats 4 in the house 3 outside are 7 years old now

Loving the kitty talk!

Not sure if I showed this photo of my perfectly manored tabby's looking for a snack. (As usual)

Well, happy days! Yesterday I let Ivan out into the garden enclosure to get some exercise and of course he stayed at the fence picking fights with Spider and Bolt. I thought... man, this just ain't no good! So, I caged him and let Bolt have the free time. I then put an add on craigslist $1 to good home and got a text pretty darn quick. So, Ivan gets to be a king and a one man show for 14 pretty red ladies and some nice people in Kapahi. Lucky him. Most my roos seem to land pretty well and I am happy for that. So, peace again at the M estate as Bolt does not challenge or stress anyone like me.

With Ivan in cage I set a trap to catch the rat (s) that had set up camp near his coop. 1 down but I am sure I will find more as this one looks fat. Leaving coops open so kitties can help with the clean up.

Miyuki is officially home! She’s not sure what to make of the dogs yet, but she’s held her ground and hissed at them instead of hiding and being fearful. That’s a good sign for her future here hehe.

I’m still changing Iris’ bandages daily and giving him antibiotics twice a day. His other eye is starting to get a little funky, but I caught it quickly so I’m hoping I can prevent it from getting worse.
I’ve been soaking his eye twice a day, but now that the other is infected I’m planning to soak it more often.

Despite it all, he’s still the sweetest boy ever. He doesn’t like me soaking his really bad eye since he can’t see what I’m doing, but he’s been letting me roll him over to get easier access to his feet, and soak his other eye. I think he just does it for the snacks he gets afterwards, but I’m not complaining. XD

Thank you! I’ve had a handful of roosters over the years, but none of them have been as friendly as he is. He’s always climbing on my lap to be snuggled, and he’s more gentle than most of my hens. I don’t know what I did to get so lucky. <3

I finally did weigh Ivan b4 he left and he came in at 7.4 lbs
Bolt came in @8.4lbs and
Spider surprised me and came in @ 8.2. He has been working while the other 2 have been sitting in a coop. I thought Spider would be more in the high 7's. Such a hunk ♡♡♡

I think Iris is just the sweetest, what a good boy! He reminds me of Puff and Fluff, just so patient and sweet!

I’m impressed your boys are that big @TropicalBabies! How do you weigh them? I am not sure Eevee would sit still long enough He isn’t feeling so hot right now though, so he’s being rather patient :-( I think he’s got the full blown dry pox he doesn’t even crow cuz he’s too congested :-( he seems to be okay otherwise, so I hope he just sounds worse than he feels :-/

So today was the first full day with the baby and she’s just so great! I was on the phone for work doing interviews ALL day today and she and I spent the whole day together she’s starting to come out of her shell and play and eat and such. I got rather perplexed today cuz she squatted and peed twice on the carpet and I gave her plenty of intros to the cat box. After chatting with my mom she reminded me that she may not recognize the litter and I should see what the owner was using. So I stopped at the store and bought more litter and filled the box with the new litter and put her in and she sniffed, squatted and peed! Yay!! I was so worried! But she was just like, ummm what is this weird stuff and where is my litter box?? The one picture I included is her after playing and she passed out while cleaning herself hehehe. She is just so sweet!!
