So I actually have a little bit of an update on my 2 B. Brahmas that were sick with pox. The little FTT, who was the worst, has healed perfectly. The little cockerel was doing great, still kind of is but a few days ago I was doing one of my multi daily checks where I really search out the 2 past sick ones to make sure they are still in forward motion so they can stay with the flock and I saw some swelling on his brow. Being I check on them plenty it was pretty sudden. My thought was he could have possibly gotten pecked but I saw no mark so he went straight into isolation. He has great energy, appetite, color, feather health... just a bump above the eve. No smell or drainage. Nares are clean. Just a hard lump

and I think it is a tumor. I flushed him, dropped him and packed him w/ Neosporin. There has been no change one way or the other. Rest of flock looks 100%. Strange and I think that I will have to cull him. A real bummer after all we went through together and he is really a nice boy.
Anywho, the teens w/ FTT this eve at bedtime. Time to move the bigger ones out to the big coop ya think lol
