What did you do with your flock today?

Always good to think positive in life.
I tend to gravitate to a prepare for the worst but hope for the best mindset. It tends to serve me a little better as I am a sensitive sort and can really beat myself up for being blindsided or let down. Then if I get a better than prepared for outcome I am super grateful. lol

Two of the zombies living the life. I miss them so much it hurts but I am so happy to be surrounded by my babies. Maybe time for a visit

Today we had sun and 72 for a high! It felt down right spring like! The chickens did a lot of sun bathing, it was so cute ☺️

Spent a little time with the kids outside and then later with the new girl, Elsafish. I really love her personality, she’s chatty and interested but sweet and reasonably calm. She doesn’t seem crazy flighty as the dogs are constantly harassing her by trying to get to her poop of course 🙄🙄

I am not sure all Ameraucana roosters are so friendly and sweet, but I feel like I won the jackpot with Puff and Fluff. Unlike Mr. Man Eevee who was always a good chicken but not interested in being held or petted or loved on…Puff and Fluff have to say hi everyday and Puff even sits in my lap for a bit and lets me snuggle him. He also seems reasonably willing to share his ladies with the other two, although less so with Emilio the bantam boy. ☺️ Was a good chicken day, hope it stays that way 🤞🏻
