Today we knocked out a lot of the duck coop. I’m so happy about that and it is starting to look fantastic!! We got posts in and waiting for the cement to dry, door has wire over it and ready to hang as soon as those posts dry. We also got the bushes planted behind the duck coop to keep some of the north wind down. They probably won’t be much good this year but next might be different. 2 of the 7 of them may not even live to see fall. We will see. I didn’t pay much for them so if they die, they can be replaced. We also cut back some branches off the tree so they weren’t on top of the net.
My second oldest is doing basketball this year and has her first practice tomorrow. We got her a new basketball (even though she has one, the DH said she needed a new one

) and we FINALLY put up her basketball hoop. But it took us a while because we were wanting to put it in the ground so the winds we do get don’t keep knocking it over.
Then, Tuesday my oldest has cheer practice and I’m just so nervous! Her try outs aren’t until Thursday but man, I’m still freaking out. I’m going to though anyway until I hear that she either made the team or did not.
Another thing that is stressing me out, and I’m hoping you all have some advice. I have not told the lady I got the ducks from that the dog got all 12 of them. I want to get more from her though and I did tell her I would keep her up to date on them. I just feel that if I do tell her, the best time would be face to face. But I’m not sure if it would really even matter. I don’t know how much she would “care”. I mean there isn’t much she could do and I did pay her for them. I just don’t know. A friend of mine said she wouldn’t say anything unless she asks. But my thought is, when I go get some more ducks, that if she asks tell her. BUT I would also be able to show her the coop is done and how secure it is. What would you all do?
