Your duck areas really looking wonderful! I'm in love with the toad houses. We get so many toads...desert and spadefoots galore. I'm going to have to see if I can come up with a toad house or two just for fun.
Your flower looks great! I haven't gotten cut yet but can understand your worry...the metal edges are definitely sharp. I was gonna make and send ya guys some when I'm back but that'll be a while. Hubbys happy to drink more beer so I'll have enough cans

I love your mini coop! Think I need to start calling my mini coops micro coops . 47 and multiple coops to care for can definitely keep you hopping. Bet you find it easy to walk those 1000 steps they recommend for health . Fingers still crossed for Hope. Those eye worms sound truly horrible to deal with .

I would love some of your flowers! They are just so pretty!!! My husband too wouldn’t mind drinking more beers but he drinks out of glass bottles…has a thing about finding a dead mouse in the can. I don’t blame him there.

I just happen to come across the Toad houses. I don’t know if the company still exists but the website I found on them is just toadhouse.com I haven’t went to the website to see if it’s still up and going but it’s worth a try.

Thank you! I need to get more colors. I’m trying to hold off on doing too many and having them up. Hubby still needs to paint the posts white so they are sealed and too take off all the flowers I want up would take me forever . I want to put some on the chicken coop too so I may do that. You will have to share yours when you get them done!

Thanks for all the well wishes! We switched our leave day to tomorrow morning so my oldest could take care of a few things. Today I drop our puppy off to our friend, wash the car, mail some cuttings, and think I'm gonna stop on the way home and pick up a couple speciality beers to drink with hubby and the oldest tonight. I hate beer....lol. But hubby will enjoy it so it'll be a nice way to say a temporary goodbye.

Morning all! Well, @kurby22 I did threaten Moki with a special dinner guest invite the other night and have fantasized about dropping my L.B & old bat load a few times. They seem to be so unbending to the sweet little buffs who are so content & peaceful. This too shall pass right...?

Yes @Gammas Bearded Babies they just go in to sleep (and poop ALOT). Though, I do have a useful nesting box attached to the far end. All in all it works great for me/us/space available/here. It is 3.5' x 16' w/ 2 x 8' roost only on the long side that littereally opens up for easy access. That seems to do the trick for the most part it is too hot or nice weathered with too many bugs for inside living here.

Normally just a few lower ranking or fussy chickens use the side roost, great for pre-lay pullets and I am sure the A team will adjust accordingly.
I am due for a serious scrub and freshening of coop and run. See if I can't do some stuff better. I'm a few years off from being able to dream about my next coop which may be more like this but bigger.

Yesterday we had a most exciting coldfront come in with some rain, dramatic thunder and lightning. So today I need to go out and finish my hedge work.
Drew up my design for the bag rack- - will go pick up materials possibly tomorrow. Rip a few untreated 2x4s and some pallet wood, plus a few wheels and hat hangers. Maybe even a can flower or 3 for decor! cute, cheap and easy.

K. Better get going on my day.
