What did you do with your flock today?

K. I am absolutely beat.
Lots of yard work with some planting today and sewing bags at the peak of heat. Got up to 90° but did not feel like it. Sold 4 dozen eggs, spoiled all of my sweeties, rode Boo to pasture and the slightly "long way home" to watch sunset at the beach.
To tired to be hungry and grateful I don't have to make dinner. Did not even collect eggs yet. I am slowly gaining on my to-dos. That is making me pretty happy.
What's everyone doing for Halloween?

Woohoo for chores off the plate! I am very envious of your sunset horseback riding!!

My kids are trick or treating with their friends tonight around 6--I'm super excited it's finally Halloween so my children will stop asking about it every 2 minutes We then have to come home and pack up stuff for my daughter, as she and her 4th grade classmates have a big camping trip and they leave tomorrow and are gone until Friday! I'm really nervous about sending her there without me, but it should be okay, she will be with all her friends. Will be a bit quiet around here this week and it's supposed to be cold and rainy tomorrow...should be a good week--as long as DD comes home safe and sound.

Babies are due to hatch in two days!! I sure hope they all make it!

This weekend we have been so busy!!! Between the maintenance stuff and me wrapping up on the Halloween costumes. But I got them done JUST in time. My son is so not amused with costume but it turned out so well! You can’t see their makeup in the pictures obviously but I promise it looks good too

This weekend we have been so busy!!! Between the maintenance stuff and me wrapping up on the Halloween costumes. But I got them done JUST in time. My son is so not amused with costume but it turned out so well! You can’t see their makeup in the pictures obviously but I promise it looks good too

They all look fantastic!! You are super amazing for doing all of those yourself! My mom made our costumes when we were kids and she HATED it haha, she would never have wanted to do that many every Halloween--well done momma!! Have fun tonight!

Thank you! I love it really! That and I’m saving so much money! The prices of costumes is just ridiculous. We have bought their first costumes and after that just make them. I think the kids like it too. I haven’t ever heard them complain about not getting a store bought costume.

I hope your kiddos have fun tonight as well! I wouldn’t let my 5th grader go. But she is at the principals office almost EVERY day. Sometimes she is in trouble and sometimes she just happens to be the innocent one…which is few than not.

Oh goodness! BRAVO!!!
I never bought my kids costumes- then the quality was pretty awful- but mine were not nearly as terrific as yours. Love that there is a Alice in Wonderland theme between them all and that the kids got in character for the photos ❤❤
