Woke up to a light rain this morning. Love not summer. Weather not looking ideal for the tree work up Koke'e. Hoping we can push them back a few days but I highly doubt it. Hope they can stay productive for the high $$$$ per day and not completely ruin the cabin. Lol

Can't remember which day, but my kids got me a goat! She's an 8 week old Nigerian doe.

She’s adorable! A goat is such a strange gift though, lol.

Little Stanley is 12 weeks old today and nearly as big as his mom. He's going to be a total snugglebug like his dad. I really hope he and Ferdy continue to get on as I haven't the space to separate them and I don't want to have to re-home him. I took some pictures of him earlier, not great as he wouldn't keep still..

Oh my goodness! What a lively little thread! Mini goats, cute cockerels, beautiful coops, humane rats... ok. Draw the line on dropping off rats unless it is at someone's house I don't like.
So much going on on this thread, don't know that I am going to catch it all.
Congrats of the goat @chicks. Your daughters are so beautiful inside and out. Wish my kids were wonderful like that. Seems my daughter can bother with me to send grandkids wish lists, other than that Boys are worse. Even stepkid's girlfriend manage to only give me 15 minutes, 1 thank you hug and a forwarded recipe for cheesecake. Good trade my cute pink scooter, so I guess we are even . Maybe I should humanley trap some rats lol or just mind my own...

Yeah, @fbm, I'd like to get our crap under control before being tempted with an auction. I'm like @kurby, my x-mas list is industrial shelving (and a work bench I will buy myself) sure my younger self would be like wtf happened to you/me! What we really need is to get rid of all those animals and get a kayak!

Well both of my Leghorns laid a good egg today…maybe it is just a matter of working things out. I’m just glad that Lilo and Stitch are ok!

I took off early this morning on Boo with a loaded duffel bag of food for the young men staying at the cabin. Guess they did not bring up food and thought they would be fine lol. Oh to be young.
I was greeted by a cold face as the electric went out again and there is no fireplace. Told him the stove works great and handed him a few bags of food
The ride down was amazing. Everything is so fresh and crystal clear after the rains.
Got boards scraped and waters bleached and scrubbed. New guy is cruising just fine, trying to find his place in my full flock. Last night everyone went to their assigned places.
I do need to cut a new feed bag to staple on a door and 1 side of mini coop. Old ones have had it after 1-2 years lol.

My Zoolander rooster I agree! He is my phones locked screen and I do have an original painting of him. Been thinking he needs to be the image for my farm bags.

Had to go put the chickens to bed but on my ride home pulled over to get one more photo...
