Cut and sewed bags of course. Mo'o Mele right at home. Now that he is ours we added Mo'o onto his existing name of Mele. So he is now basicly a gecko song. Seems about right.

Got 16 eggs so far today. Scraped poop boards and cleaned waterers. Went bug hunting and lifted a block and a few logs for the gang. Chooks are well ♡

Go with the smallest you can. You can order from Amazon as well and buy the insulin needles. 31g. Needles get smaller as the number gets bigger. 22g is smaller then 20.

I have been waiting to hear them, but I really think he was hearing the birds outside. It was probably about 3:30 or so in the morning. I haven’t heard anything from them ALL day. And I haven’t left the incubator since I have them in a still air incubator now instead of the one they have been in. I have been trying to monitor it to make sure things go good.

We ended up calling the vet here, already knowing they didn’t do poultry, but they have needles that they sell and they have one of the sizes I need. They only have 22 gauge as far as small. Finding anything smaller than that is hard, they don’t even have anything smaller. I will have to go through Amazon with this next batch if I can find them.

I want to do more of these! My poor ducks only have one . I have saved so many cans but just the time to paint them hasn’t been in my favor. I love the way those are turning out for you!

She had her bath, under protest. Found some hard poo in the water, but she is still straining, which makes the prolapse balloon out. I've read to keep her from laying, which seems to have caused the bleeding, and feed mixed corn, not crumbles or pellets. Keeping her in a darkened room as well.

I hope all of this helps her heal! I had to clean one of my birds fluffy butts yesterday and it was terrible just getting her. She knew I was trying and she made it so hard. I do hope that your little girl starts feeling better really soon!

Would Epsom salt water help Pepper to go poo? I had a chicken drink some while I was soaking her bumblefoot and she sure went.
She's been eating and drinking a lot this morning.

You could also. bathe her in it, that alone can help by relaxing muscles. The magnesium in epsom salt is wnat causes the laxative effect. To administer orally, I'd start by mixing 1 tsp in a cup and a half of warm water. You can up this by a tsp each time, up to 3tsp if it hasn't worked after a few hours. Molasses also has a high amount of magnesium and can be mixed with water at a rate of 1tsp per 2 cups of water. You could try fractionated coconut oil, olive or vegetable oil too. Pysillium husk can be used to increase fibre intake on a short term basis.
