What did you do with your flock today?

Thank you ❤
Just a big flare-up of one of my existing conditions, i have another exam next week so I can do without any complications!
Sorry to hear about that. Hope your doc visit goes well and your condition subsides.
I love tiling too. I tiled our kitchen and bathroom, find it very soothing.
Auctions are great, what did you buy?
Good for you! Bet it looks lovely!
I used to make a living off of tile for quite awhile. I enjoyed it but don't want to work that hard anymore unless it is a personal project- and I have a lot of those hanging in limbo. Very satisfying work.
I got a few things. A brass container for grandson who collects things. 2 super crappy tables, one for sewing stuff and other for a shop table, then some misc small shallow dishes that I can use for the cats and under plants as attractive saucers and 2 funky candlesticks. I had just scored some beautiful brass ones the other day so was on a roll lol

Lovely 😍....and there's chickens!
Are they, or some kine bird of prey? Anywho, funky enough they got tossed up with my small collection I started awhile back. It's been a slow to collect hobby-ish kind of thing cept the last 2 weeks I found 2 sets. Always had an attraction towards candle holders... and bowls. For some reason I love mixing bowls too 🤷‍♀️ though not much of a collection... more of a tic 😂

Well, Oregon went to a new home today. He started being mean to my youngest daughter and that's just not safe. He's always had a habit of tugging on fingers, toes and clothes. Just his way of asking for treats and attention. But she was getting irritated by it and would push him off, which would irritate him...that can escalate fast.
He stayed sweet and affectionate to me and my oldest so deciding to let him go was hard.
Anyway....super sad to see him go, but the fellow I gave him to will bring him back if it doesn't work out, and I know the living conditions there and it's wonderful. And he'll send me videos of him from time to time. I'm sure it'll be a good place for him. Bert was so tickled because there was no effort to picking him up...you just reach out and lift. He stayed calm through the bagging for transport, being carried around in Bert's arms while he looked at my other birds and chatted. Gonna miss our little turkey pea.

Oh how bitter sweet 💔 I love that new guy is a wonderful pea dad and also keeps you posted. That is thoughtful. Oregon sounds wonderful and is certainly very handsome. There will be a big beautiful sized hole in your yard. I find I need to emotionally sit for a bit after subtracting a chicken or roo. I need to acknowledge the loss even if it is a good one. ♡ deep sigh.

Bowls are a nice kind of tic 🤣 Love your color assortment! My eggs are all about the same color....just all different sizes!
Think I am always going to need color in my bowls. My chickens have me so spoiled. Means I will forever have to raise chickens ♡ though I really don't eat many eggs myself 😂

Wow! Those candlesticks are insane! Exactly the sort of thing I would buy and DH would just shake his head at disappointedly...

When I was a kid I once bought a lovely, chunky turned wooden candle holder at our school fete. It was identical to one we had at home. I was so excited! I bought it and handed it proudly to mom. She sighed dramatically. Yup, I'd bought back the one she'd donated....
