What did you do with your flock today?

Wow, you really got some lookers there 🤤 . Lucky you I am not your neighbor, I'm sure I'd drill holes in the fence just so I could spy on your chickens 👀
How creepy would that be 😂🤣😂
Hahaha that would be creepy! 😆 if you were my neighbor you’d have a chicken chair next to mine! 😍 I clearly love taking pictures of them whether they like it or not! 😆

When I got to the coop with the newest laying pullets 3 were out and both their boy friends were with them. I forgot to latch the door shut and they managed to push it open. the other dozen pullets were content to stay put in the safety of their home. Need to get them a run built this week. I may build another coop and a run on that and keep their coop for a brooder. Now I've got time to rest some before work starts later today. The pets are happy after a round of boiled eggs this morning.

Poor baby! I don't think there's a lot you can do at this stage. I'd keep her comfortable, warm and in the semi-dark for now. Give her a dose of electrolytes mixed with a multi vitamin and hope she pulls round. If she has a special friend, I'd put them in together. They seem to find a lot of comfort from that, I've found and if it's shock might help her get over it.

Any idea what's targeting your chickens?
Most likely raccoons. I don't have the facilities to have a friend with her. She drinks with me holding up her head and giving her the electrolytes. How long do I wait, or what do I look for as signs that she may need to be euthanized? I don't like this. :hit She had a very large amount of watery poop on the towels this morning. I have a sinking feeling that some nerves in her neck/head? were damaged, which is why she cannot balance, or hold up herself. No real neck control. Her head just falls slowly down after I hold it up. She does and can kick her legs to sort of reposition, but that's all. When I tried to get her to put weight on her feet, one foot crosses over on top of the other, and her toes are a little curled.

O I'm so sad for you and your girls! That's so hard to have happen. :hugs
I'm late to the conversation so I'm guessing you've already gotten lots of advice. How's your poor lady this morning?
Still breathing, I've given her more electrolytes, she had a lot of watery poop on her bedding. I also answered more in detail to @Shetland lover

A dropper f
@PopoMyers I just finished catching up on the thread and wanted to add that a dropper of whiskey added to the electrolytes and honey can help. Mild pain

I made a quart, and have some in a separate 2 oz. dropper bottle. Thank you. I put maybe 2 ml in the 60 ml bottle. Does that sound ok? It was probably 70 proof vodka.

Compared to yesterday, she has more color back. She's breathing better, more awake. Neuromuscular not improved. Continuing with electrolytes plus honey and whiskey, thanks to @ChicksnMore. I am so appreciating all your love and support through this.

☹️ I'd keep trying myself. She could have some swelling that needs to subside... who knows.
Improvement, no matter how little, is awesome. Such a pretty little girl ♡ 🤞
