I have not seen the horizontals any where that I have looked. Can I ask where you found them and what pressure they work at?yes that's all I use. I have verticals for the babies but I'll switch them to horizontal in a couple of weeks.
Still, you need to cover his assets...It’s hard to keep clothes on a donkey anyways!![]()
I got this 10 Pack of Horizontal Nipples on amazon. I don't know anything about the pressure. Do you mean water pressure? I use them in a 5 gallon bucket. If you mean pressure to get them to work it's very easy for the chickens to manipulate them with their beaks.I have not seen the horizontals any where that I have looked. But I read that the nipples freeze in cold weather. That's what I needed to know. Filling a bucked has got to be easier than the metal fountains that need scrubbing every so often and they always find a way to get them full of foreign matter every single day.
I have a lid on the bucket and not a drop of debris or algae is ever in there. I rinse them out every time I refill but they stay pristine even in the summer. And it gets HOT here. That's what I needed to know. Ive read that some people have issues in very cold climates. I don't have that problem here fortunately. But I read that the nipples freeze in cold weather.
