My neighbours like the sound of them crowing - me not so much, this time of year though they are not starting as early thank goodness!I get by on 3-4 hours a night too. It's rubbish.
On the plus side, I can monitor how loud my boys are being and how early they crow in case of neighbour complaints. So far, there have been none - I love my neighbours!
My neighbours profess to love the sound of my boys crowing, too. We live in an urban area so they say it makes them feel like they're in the country. Someone one street over has a rooster now, too. It sets my boys off crowing every morning. I'm also not too enthusiastic about the sound, especially when it's right in my ear! It doesn't help that Stan's crow varies between nails down a chalkboard and an adolescent boy's voice breaking. My neighbours like the sound of them crowing - me not so much, this time of year though they are not starting as early thank goodness!
