Good to know. Thanks.I never have. Once saw that they ate around the core, and other times eat the seed. They get the ones with the worms. Just not moldy ones. The seeds have a little arsenic, I believe, but my girls are all healthy.
Sorry to hear you are sick! It's been raining off and on for days now. The birds all look like they are bedraggled. I have come down within Pancreatitis and can't get out to spend time with them. This was a couple days ago.

Very naughty girls! My lot ate all my figs - little buggers! Turns out Clara can climb...We picked/pecked apples today. They got the not so good ones. As I was standing just outside my garden gate, along wanders a leghorn. She had been in the garden eating stuff. No choy sum for me this year. I think it's time to clip all of the leghorn's wings. Naughty girls!
Such naughty chickens you and @PopoMyers have!Very naughty girls! My lot ate all my figs - little buggers! Turns out Clara can climb...
I know I shouldn't complain but I'm getting sick of sorting and preparing apples. We've had a bumper year and only got half the apples off one tree so far.
Awwww, such cute babies......sanctioned or not!Such naughty chickens you and @PopoMyers have!I stopped planting gardens because my dogs always destroy what lives thru the hellish summers…but my chickens are running rogue in the backyard these days like naughty criminals so they’re in trouble now because they keep pooping all over my patio table!
We had a nasty round of mites this week that I’m battling like crazy…never a dull moment in chicken land!
Aria brought in Elinor because she’s been broody and thought it was hilarious how big she is in comparison to the bantam pullet she’s holding so I had to share
And the last picture is of some unsanctioned babies that hatched recently from my d’Anver pen
Hope you’re all well!
