    YES.

Definitely trying out carrot cake waffles at some point!

I was made an impressive birthday cake yesterday, which also happened to be part of my breakfast. A ramen noodle soup (diced tomatoes, egg, spices, sesame oil and hot sauce as the base) is also part of the getting-up round.

My breakfast was pretty impressive this morning. Now no one get jealous. It was a bowl of cold cereal!

I've never made it myself, seeing as my mom is the cook around here. [IMG] But she makes just about the best homemade macaroni and cheese that has several types of cheese in it. It's incredible and ever so much better than the "fake" boxed kind. [IMG]

Oooooh! I'm SO envious! [IMG] No, really, cold cereal can be great depending on what kind it is.

Mac and cheese. That is my favorite food.
    always has been.
ask her, please Alex, what cheeses she uses. I am a sharp Cheddar person, but I love them all.

That's how I make it too. It's a good way to use up all those odd bits & pieces of various cheeses we always seem to end up with. You should ask her to show you how to make it!

I will! She's currently still in bed, but when she gets up, I'll find out for you. [IMG]
You know, I probably should! My mom has been pressed for time with a new baby and a toddler, so it's been rather difficult for her to cook elaborate meals as of late. But hopefully soon, right? Life has been so busy around here, albeit in a good way. [IMG]

Now might actually be the best time to ask her. Let her sit, and have her tell you what to do. She probably would greatly appreciate the help right now, and doing is the best way to learn. You will not regret learning to cook, especially when you move out.
The best thing I have ever did was live with my Grandma a couple of years. She would never really let me cook, but I did learn a ton of tricks just helping where she would let me.

Today I just had a couple of pieces of pumpkin bread. My sweet 1 year old decided to wake up this morning at 3. I gave up making her fall back asleep at 4 and have been up, if not moving very much since. So lots of coffee and pumpkin bread today.

Oh, I'm sure he'd pass it on. I can get it for you if you want. [IMG]
