I posted a recipe for making your own eggnog if you want the link. It's not hard and uses up any extra eggs you have (it's cooked so no chance of getting sick). We don't put rum in ours, just don't care for the 2 tastes mixed together. Of course, if you wanted to make a batch of eggnog, you could split it into 2 pitchers, 1 without rum for morning and 1 with rum for evening!

No I found it on your bakers thread. I will give it a go this season, maybe my children, thing 1 and thing 2, will drink it (negative the rum, or as I call it Mommies magical sleeping potion)
