Love Buff Orpingtons :)
We've had a few roosters with names, usually related to their appearance or behavior, and usually named by the grandson or the lady of the house, I prefer not to name them, but I did one. They had named one "White Bird", one was "Friend Bird", another was "Two Feathers". The one I named had all his tail feathers pulled out from the other birds. I named him "Ass Plucked Clean" :)
I have done the same- named after characteristics. One gimps because of a bad leg- so Gimpy. One hen pecks so we call her Woody Pecker. Another survived a fox attack - she is Foxy.
The rest the grandkids named - Clairbelle Rainbow heart, Brownie, Rosie, and Cinder.

We just got our rooster, so far I called him Pretty boy, Big boy, Sugar daddy.
no real name yet, hope to be inspired by your stories and names.
He is a 7 months old Buff Orpington. View attachment 2423466
All three (now two) of my roosters had were white and nearly identical, so naming was a little difficult. My favorite name of the three was Dirty Bird, whose personality and looks matched his name. He was really aggressive and constantly filthy. The downside of having white feathers. :)
