Oh great LOL there are 2 that I am iffy about - 4 out of my 6 are feathering out nicely yet the other 2 don't have nearly as many as the others, so I will be keeping an eye on them. I have given them all a diff coloured tag for their leg so I can tell them apart and our son can name them lolMy advanced chick turned out to be a Rooster...stay tuned!
Ok!! I never thought I'd have so much fun owning chickens lol they are a blast!Haha he's so funny! I brought home some little Bantams today and have the smallest one (a little cockerel) in a little brooder in the house. I went to check on him earlier and he was sleeping neck sprawled out and face tucked down in the straw. He reminded me of Pig Pen here. I will try to get pictures tomorrow.

I've only got Pigpen and Lucy right now cuz we really don't have that much room, but I want to get one or two more. Pigpen's kind of a mutt between a white leghorn and something with brown feathers and Lucy's a black sex link. I want a barred rock or a Columbian Wyondette (don't know if I spelled that right) ill make room! LolThat they are! Thought my husband was going to have a stroke when I told him I brought home four bantams, one american game, and a New Hampshire(?) today. That's on top of the 26 others we already had.
No he gets up bright and early at 4 am and goes strong all day. The narcolepsy kicks in about 8pm lolLibRat, is your chicken narcoleptic?
