My 7 pearl babies went off to their new home yesterday, and I put the 2 lavender ones outside with Dave, so for the first time in months and months there are no keets or chicks in the house! it's very quiet. One of them has started making go-back noises i think, I'm certain Dave is a hen now and her mate is not... so it might be that I've managed to keep my 1:1 male to female ratio by absolute luck 
Just need husband to do the renovations on the adult coop and then it'll be ready for them all to go in together in a few months when they outgrow my little run on the lawn at home.
Next year we've said we will have a shed in the garden for keet-rearing which will be better for not having mess and noise in the house, but i will miss the happy-guinea chirruping noises they make
