What diseases can ducks catch from chickens?

There’s the brooder with my chicks from earlier this year it’s not the right set up for the ducks because I have a different water set up for them and adjusted the food situation. But it should give you an idea of the heat plate, thermostat bedding for babies, I just pivot and adjust based on temps what’s needed at that time and age. The photo of them in water was my determination to get their little legs moving. They seem to enjoy it a lot. They did dry off and have heat after.

do they get any other things to eat besides the feed and do they have a dish of chick grit
Of course. I always give baby chicks and ducklings grit. They might be getting some of their own grit when I have them outside during the day. They’re gonna get the pasture and grass the only fruit I can think of they’ve had maybe some watermelon once. They love eating the grass when they’re in the yard so no snacks yes.

Are they In warm water? Very important the water be warm when this young. How long has this little one been breathing like this? Any discharge from eyes or nares? Do you have any antibiotics in case you needed them? Vet RX is like Vicks vapo rub for humans it can help with congestion.

Yes. They’re much better!! Doing very good now. Couple days inside, lots of warm bath swimming, Duckling feed with brewer’s yeast, nutridrench, and vetrx in warm bath helped. They were too fat and niacin deficient. Both are well :)
