What do duck eggs look like?

My ducks aren't laying eggs yet, so I want to see pics of what they look like!

Green, black, grey, amung other colors.. a little longer shaped than a large chicken egg, with a waxy glossy feel

after they get to laying good, their eggs will be as big or slightly larger than a jumbo chicken egg..

and they will have a look and feel of wax.. very smooth shell..

no pictures..

if you are used to handling chicken eggs, you will notice the difference when you get one...

Thanks the eggs are beautiful! They really feel like wax? Like a reptile egg?

the white 1 on the left is the size of an average chicken egg from my chocolate runner
the blue in the mid. is the size of a jumbo chicken egg and it is from my f/w runner
the last off white 1 is really big nomaly about 3 1/2inchs tall and they come from my pekin mutt.
most of my eggs dont really feel waxy except for the 1's that come from my runners.
i have other eggs but wanted to give you an idea of size and shape
and if you have never had duck eggs for breakfast you are missing out!

the one on the left is one of my large chickens eggs the pretty brown one is the duck.
