What do I do? Broken leg.

I have a young OE Duckwing rooster that got attacked by my dogs. As I went out to check on him he was laying on his side. As I approached he tried to walk away but only managed a few steps, with his one leg dragging behind him. He has no puncture wounds but his left leg was/is completely limp, discovered when I tested to see if he had any reflex. I have felt the leg bones and they are not broken (as far as I can tell) but I am wondering if he could have dislocated his leg from the hip, or broke the hip itself? I currently have him in a small kennel indoors with food and water. What should I do? Is there any hope in a recovery and if so, what are the best actions to accomplish a livable result?

No I did not witness the attack. Thankfully my brother did and rescued him before the circumstances were worsened. What kind of vitamins do you recommend I treat with?

You can either buy special chicken vitamins at your local feed store/TSC or you could try scrambling an egg, as the yolk is full of vitamins and energy to help them make a recovery.
