What do I do - Emergency Chick problem listed on chicks forum

Here is a recipe for chick electrolytes:

It is late I assume you can't run to the store at the moment, enjoy your coffee!

My kitchen is my laboratory so I save time in an emergency by making stuff myself...and I stocked up a homemade first aid kit for my dogs and chickens recently, including these types of items and more...

Use the electrolytes if it seems to be getting weaker....as wyorp Rock said, peroxide was fine for the beginning...chick needs to be warm and electrolytes help with the stress.

I was thinking put her momma in with her to keep her warm but don't know if momma would turn on her...any other way to provide her with more warmth? Light bulb over the container?

Feed electrolytes a few drops with an eye dropper I think.

I couldn't even get to a store even if it wasn't so late seeing how I don't drive nor do I own a vehicle.
What I meant was it might be too late for me to save this baby.

If you don't have the ingredients to make electrolytes you can give her a little sugar water.

She needs to be kept warm, do you have a heat lamp?
If not, put a towel in your dryer and warm it up (not too hot) then wrap your baby. But you need to try to get her to drink, she may be dehydrated.

Thanks again everyone but I need to pass on some bad news
As I'm holding on to the baby attempting to give it homemade electrolytes it's fading fast. The next pic is rough on anyone's stomach PLEASE don't view it. IMG_20170715_002543.jpg
That's the underside of it's wing.

OMGOODNESS! It was just lifeless and now look;

It's still fighting!:wee
I wish everyone could hear how strong it's peeps are and see it attempting to move. I'm going to cry I'm so happy.

Not out of the water yet- still in very critical condition.
I know I put baking soda on the wounds to stop the bleeding and gave it some homemade electrolyte solution.
Back to fading fast- going down hill AGAIN!

cow whisperer---it will take a while to "get over" not finding it sooner. My best broody hen we called her momma...didnt come back one night while free ranging. I did look for her two evenings in a row, but after finding feathers one morning- "something" had found her in the night -I back tracked the feathers and found her nest. there were 12 eggs on her nest and about 6 that were broken. I still walk by that place and am a little sad. :hit We do the BEST we can at the time....their chicken nature takes over sometimes!
Your little chick is hanging in there.:clap...I would find a lamp if you can or even a naked bulb (no lamp shade that you could put near the opening of the cat carrier. At this point ...even an open box would be fine...the little chick isn't going to hop out too soon. SOoo glad its hanging on!

I would wash off that baking soda, use cornstarch to stop bleeding or arrowroot powder, and give more electrolytes directly...if you don't have cornstarch or arrowroot, use white flour. See, baking soda is a base, so it changes the pH of the wound which can affect healing or cause discomfort. I know it is a disinfectant, but you would use the saline, or soap for that. Then the trip antibiotic helps heal. Wash off the baking soda with saline solution.

If it is not actually bleeding, then dry carefully and just cover wound with triple antibiotic cream as mentioned before.
