I would lean toward reproductive disorder and infection of some kind. With the odd egg yolks and swollen abdomen you can try antibiotics to see if that helps. Penicillin may not be the most effective one to use though. Baytril would likely be best, but keep in mind it is not approved for use in laying hens so do some research on that.This egg was layed today. The girls got to it before I did. This is all that was left besides a mess of goo on the floor of the coop. There is a remarkable dark spot on the shell.
