Yeah, I think my best argument was, "you're always asking for a fried egg sandwich!!! I just cook it, the ladies are the one's who provide that sustenance!"

Men need to learn one rule in life:
A HAPPY WIFE IS A HAPPY LIFE.

When I let him read this, he just huffed and rolled his eyes. I'm sure young men have heard this, but it takes years for them to believe it. Shame, life would be easier and happier for them (and us) if they did!

Actually, if he would think about it...that saying?...it would make his life sooo much easier now wouldn't it? When a wife is happy the spouse is very happy. ha ha or significant other.
Mine actually worked on expanding our coop all weekend and he got it finished. I praised him to high heaven...he is gloating. I am smiling.

yep! we don't mind stoking the ego fire when we get what we want!!! After the coop is finished he can strut around all day like a Tom turkey and I'll tell him how great a job he did.

Oh, this afternoon when I got home from church, we went around to the back of the house to have lunch outside in the beautiful weather, and he says, "I'm just going over here for a minute to look at my coop."

My mouth litterally dropped. I asked him what he said between gasping for breath from laughing, and he couldn't help but smile cause he let it slip and I caught him. He then was tripping over his tongue trying to blah, blah, blah about something. I was laughing too hard to hear!!!

thank you. he is really a softy inside. He forgets that we have a 17 year relationship as best friends before we became romantically involved. His moods do not bother me we've seen each other at our best and our worst! And we're still best friends! Thanks for all the nice comments ya'll.
