what do I do for winter?

I took this photo this past spring. The temperature was just below freezing.

This photo is a few years old. It was 4 degrees above zero Fahrenheit when I took it.

Yes they can go out. I leave all my chicken and turkey coop doors open all winter(except over night) and they all come out for parts of the day. They will go back in if it is too cold or too wet. The only time I have left all doors closed up was during last years hurricane. Other than that I leave that up to them to decide.
