What do I do with chicken poop if i don't have a compost pile?

It is illegal some places.
Apparently it is in the city of St. Louis.
In my classes at the community college inside city limits, I advise to compost. I got a letter from the city thanking me for teaching the poultry classes but told me to inform my students that it was illegal to have an open compost pile in city limits.

No problem just keep it covered...

If you don't have a compost pile, what can you do with the chicken poop you clean out from the coop?

Do you use wood chips or straw in the coop? I do use mostly wood chips (a little straw will be pushed out of the nesting boxes too). What I do with the chips and poop is 1) I have raised garden beds and I spread it in between the raised beds. It keeps weeds from growing and helps in the winter with the mud and 2) I have a hillside (used to be bare) that I've planted on and I spread the manure and wood chips on the hill to help avoid runoff and to give the few plants there some mulch. I don't worry about it being aged, I just throw it out and nothing has ever died (so far). Sometimes I wish I had more to spread around! Hope that gave you some ideas.

If you have neighbors, friends, family that garden, ask them if they want it (I keep it in buckets for easy transporting).

If you live on a large enough lot, you could just dump it in the woods/meadow.

If you have compost pick up via your trash service check if they'll take chicken poop.

If none of the above are viable, bag and trash is the last option.

there are cities that ban composting? This makes me sad!

When I clean out the coop it all gets dumped in the run, by the end of the day you can't tell.
I do the same, the run makes a great composting site and as it composts in the run they scratch through it then find that its a great habitat for worms and beetles. Grass clippings and leaves added in and those chickens will have it scratched into fine soil in no time.
