In the Brooder
ok, so i just dewormed my flock (of ducks) with Ivermectin paste. I have been told to repeat this process in 2 weeks..
I have also been told not to eat any eggs for 2 weeks after giving the flock the paste. So... no edible eggs for a month.. What do i do with all of the eggs?? Can crows eat them? And I think I am missing something... if the ducks can eat this paste and be fine, why cant humans eat the eggs and be fine? toxins from the dead worms?? i mean, we COOK the eggs. that should kill just about anything right?? I just wish i knew the science/reasoning behind the rule.
