What do I do with this rooster??

You can try blinders. I recently had to put blinders on a New Hampshire cockerel who turned into a complete butthead, & started attacking us. He still tries to attack, but he can't coordinate them very well since he can't see directly in front of him. Most he can do now is bite, & pull on pants.

Here's my other rooster with blinders to show you what it would look like.

I don't have much experience with roosters but if it would be attacking me and my 3 year old i would cull him or maybe try to get a new rooster and try to socialize him at a young age to prevent it from attacking people. i raised 2 roosters before and they were very friendly i held them everyday i also touched them a lot so that they wouldn't turn mean lol. i hope you can solve your problem. :)

I have never owned a rooster, but this is my educated opinion based on what I've learned from BYC:
I too would be concerned if a young child is involved. As others pointed out, it may be possible to make him understand that you're in charge, but a three year old is a whole other story. I think that he may need some solitary confinement away from other chickens. Do your chickens free range? It is easier to keep a three year old out of a coop/run than it is to keep a rooster from attacking in the yard. I know that some people can establish that they're in charge by holding the rooster down with both hands, chest touching the ground. This shows that you are in charge. I would recommend reading this article: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/dealing-with-and-taming-aggressive-roosters.74600/
In this situation I would probably cull, but after trying some management tactics. This is a decision that is ultimately up to you, as you know what is best for your flock and family better than any of us on the internet do :)

I would personally just cull. I may sound like a hypocrite, but I only tolerate aggression from certain individuals (males I simply can't afford to keep replacing). Normal birds I can order year round for 5 bucks a pop don't get that liberty. I simply don't have patience for their attitudes. You could pen him up seperately, but he wouldn't be doing his job then either
